My friend, Kendra, & I were sitting in my living room enjoying a quiet conversation with one another. Yes, we each have children, & they were in the house with us. It sounds odd to you that we were able to have a quiet conversation? Now, why would that be? Because if we had five children in the house with us, four of which are old enough to know the difference between right & wrong, any quiet spell lasting for more than 2.5 seconds should have alerted us to a BIG MESS occurring in one of the other rooms of the house. Could that have been your thought process? If so, BINGO!
We go into the twins room, & what do we find? A beautiful rainbow covering every piece of furniture in the room, as well as a few walls & doors. But knowing children as we all do, art is not art if it does not also cover most every accessible part of the body. Zach, being the oldest, was of course able to do the most damage to his person. Sean must have concentrated on covering said furniture & walls, because he only had a few places on him. Makayla also was covered in beautiful shades of various sorts. Claudia enjoyed the outing as well. Who needs an art studio or museum when you have a home with sleeping parents in the next room?
Zach thought he was soooo funny! My stopping to take pictures of everything before the cleanup probably didn't help, but I couldn't resist capturing it for posterity's sake.
Sean only had a few places on his arm & stomach. I didn't find the ones on his stomach until after the photo session.
Makayla's pitiful look of contrition. Trust me, it wasn't sincere.
The little artists & their lineup!

I'm so impressed that you took pictures! I allow my emotions to get in the way and don't remember to photograph it.
I do hope that was washable. Isn't magic eraser your best friend these days!!
My daughter did the same thing- too many times! The worst was when her and her friend were NAKED coloring on eachother- they even colored each others booties!! Hope it all came off and cleaned up well for you!!
Oh my...I've been there and done that too many times to count!!! Unfortunately, my children each had different mediums of choice when it came to decorating and art projects. Trey preferred to smear raw eggs on the walls. Addison preferred to cram poop into the VCR, and Lindsay - well, Lindsay is our most traditional child who loves markers...of the permanent variety. Somehow, her bathwater is always a prettier shade than that of Trey's and Addie's. LOL...CUTE pictures!!!
oh goodness! what a party! hopefully that quiet adult conversation you got goes a long way =)
Now, if you had the washable Crayola brand (like Steven says) this might not have been so disatrous. :-) And there is nothing wrong with taking photos of said mishaps. You can use it for blackmail later in life. :-) HA!
